TIMMERMANN ART STUDIO

About the Artist

Hi, I'm Signe Timmermann, a 23-year-old artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Alongside my passion for painting, I'm currently studying Biochemistry at the University of Copenhagen. While science is a big part of my everyday life, art has always held a special place in my heart.

I've loved painting for as long as I can remember, ever since I was a little girl. For me, painting is more than just a creative outlet. It's a way to slow down, disconnect from the busyness of everyday life, and find a sense of calm.

There is something almost therapeutic about getting lost in a painting, often accompanied by a good podcast or my favourite music.

My Inspiration

I find much of my inspiration in people. Their individuality, character, and the countless ways they can be inspiring fascinate me.

Through my paintings, I enjoy exploring the qualities that make people unique and bringing a little of that inspiration onto the canvas.

My Creative Process

I primarily work with oil paints, a medium I particularly love for its slow drying time. It allows me to work at my own pace, revisit details, and enjoy the creative process without feeling rushed.

I believe that painting should take the time it needs.

Timmermann Art Studio

Timmermann Art Studio is a space where I can share my passion for painting and the artwork I create.

Each painting reflects my curiosity, inspiration, and the quiet joy I find in creating something by hand.

Thank you for being here and taking the time to explore my work.
